Host A Glam Halloween Dinner Party

The weather is changing the nights are getting longer and the sun seems to be rising so much later now. This can only mean one thing…Halloween is near! When I was a kid I looked forward to Halloween for the endless bags of candy, in my early 20’s I looked forward to Halloween for the cute girly costumes I’d coordinate with friends for a night out. And now that I am full on #adulting, I mainly look forward to Halloween for the fun decorating ideas. This year I decided on a Glam Halloween theme. By mixing metals, adding different textures, bringing in Halloween inspired decor and incorporating some of the elements you just expect at Halloween (hello Candy Corn!) I’ll show you how to throw your own Glam Halloween Party.

Mixing cooper, gold, and silver in the place settings, candles and glassware is an easy way to instantly make a table feel glamorous without feeling too stuffy.

If you don’t want to fully commit to the whole Halloween thing, adding touches of the Halloween spirit in your buffet is a nice subtle way to bring it all in. Here I added gilded napkins with a cool skull detail, vintage glass bottles that can contain the witches brew (or your signature cocktail ;)), and Halloween candy favorites.

Flowers are key in any table scape design I create. Here I added purple Cox Comb to add a bit of moodiness to the table and varying hues of pinks and purple roses to soften the design and keep things chic.

Mixing metals is my jam! I’ve been mixing metals before it actually became the thing to do. I love how it adds glamour and a bit of whimsy to a table design.

I added a gold pumpkin to each table setting to bring the element of Halloween and the feel of Fall to the party. What I love about this table design is that it can easily transition into a beautiful Fall table scape for a dinner party by simply removing the black sparkly pumpkins. Voila!

I hope this has inspired you to throw your own Glam Halloween Party. How about you? Any fun ideas for a Halloween table design? I’d love to hear from you!
