I’m so ready for Spring to begin! I want the warmer weather and the sunnier days that beckons for  outdoor gatherings. Im already getting my ideas together for hosting get togethers this Spring. After a long cold Winter there is nothing better than being able to host your family and friends outdoors. Spring is the perfect time to get outdoors and host a brunch so I thought hosting an pretty Easter Brunch would be so sweet. Im thinking pretty pastels, sweet treats, fuss free florals, and fun self serve cocktails!  I took some of my favorite party ideas and put them together into a checklist for hosting the prettiest Easter brunch!

A dessert table is a showstopper and probably the quickest way to create a “wow factor” in a party. I love the idea of getting a table you already may have at home and bringing it outside. Place some pretty desserts on cake stands of varying heights and display pretty florals in color coordinating vases to create a pretty vignette that will wow your guests!

Let them eat cake Although this amazing cake looks fancy, it actually is simple to make and is just too pretty to not add to your dessert table. I love pretty and I love simple so this cake will be the perfect addition to an Easter brunch.

Set the table Next, lets talk about the table setting. A pretty table scape will set the mood and can provide all the decor you need. Im loving the look of these periwinkle colored linen napkins against a fresh white linen tablecloth. Simple and stunning!

Simple centerpiece Creating a garland like effect of eucalyptus running along a table is a great cost effective way to create that feel of opulence without spending too much on florals. Last week I wrote a post on how you can easily achieve this look. See the post here

The menu Im a big advocate for prepping food ahead of time and creating self serve stations. I like making quiche, a veggie medley, yogurt parfaits, a fresh salad, warming up some chocolate croissants and putting it out for guests to help themselves to. If you are feeling adventurous I thought these recipes would make for an amazing brunch menu.

DIY project having a fun activity for your guests to do (both kids and adults alike) is always a good idea. I love this fun egg painting project. Its super cute and can easily be prepped and laid out for guests to get creative with. Plus it doubles as the cutest little parting gift!

Add a mimosa bar this is my go-to self serve bar set up. All you need to put out is prosecco, glasses, fruit juices, and some pretty garnishes. Done! This type of bar is pretty self explanatory so you technicaly you do not need a sign but you all know how I feel about my signs! Lol…This one here by Lulu and Linen is so pretty, instantly downloadable, and FREE!

Are you getting exciting about Spring time yet? I’d love other from you!
