This has been our first full on Fall season in our home. Truth be told I’ve always wanted a mantel to decorate for every holiday season. Growing up in Miami mantels were non existent for obvious reasons. So, now that I have a home of my own, WITH A MANTEL, I am taking full advantage by adding little touches of the changing seasons. This year I went with a Halloween Glam theme for the over all decor but knew I wanted the decor to transition easily to Fall without having to do too much fussing. I needed easy but pretty! What’s new right? Read on to learn how to transition your Halloween decorated mantel to your Fall decor.
I added eucalyptus leaves I picked up at Wholefoods (great source for last minute flowers and greens) and some mini white pumpkins (also at Wholefoods) to add some softness to the more glittery pumpkins leftover from Halloween. In addition I added purple wax flower I found at my local grocery store just to add some interest and continue the purple color scheme from the flowers that were already displayed.
By simply adding a couple touches here and there I transformed my Halloween Glammed out mantel to a mantel more fitting for the Fall season.
