Valentine’s Day Party Ideas

Happy Monday my loves! Today’s post is one I have been waiting to share for some time now. It has seriously taken everything in me to not overshare on social media because I wanted all the pretty little details to be a surprise. Okay, so if you follow along on Instagram or Facebook, you already know I failed and failed miserably. It was just so hard to not share all this pretty with all of you! But alas, the time has come here are all the details, tips, tricks and Valentine’s Day Party ideas! Read on for more!

I kept the drinks simple. A bottle of rose’ and a bottle of rose’ champagne garnished with some raspberries. Yum!

I found these adorable gold metal sayings at Target. I love how the touches of gold in the candle holders, vases and accessories elevates the whole design.

These paper napkins are so fun and so convenient. I used them on the place settings as decor and on the bar cart to use as beverage napkins.

You guys know how I feel about my florals. I stayed in the light pinks, peach, and cream family for these floral arrangements. You can see the full floral recipe here! Although one centerpiece would have been more than sufficient, I wanted to really amp up the wow factor and made a row of 4 arrangements in gold compotes. A good tip to note with low arrangements is that they shouldn’t be taller than your arm in height (from the elbow to the tips of your fingers). This way you ensure you do not block your guests view of one another.

What’s a Valentine’s Day party without a pretty bar cart? In last week’s post, I gave you my top tips on how to style a Valentine’s Day bar cart that is both lovely to look at and functional.

Your dessert table doesn’t have to be something too elaborate. Just some simple store bought treats displayed on pretty cake stands will be perfect. Here I displayed a naked red velvet cake I picked up from the grocery store along with these adorable sugar cookies with pink icing and sprinkles! The cake toppers were a SUPER easy DIY that took all of 2 minutes (and most of the time went into opening up the packages and choosing which saying to use-obviously, I chose “XOXO” and “Be Mine”). I took 2 drink stirrers added a self adhesive Valentine’s Day sticker and voila!

I also created a mini craft station next to the desserts. You can ask each guest to write a sweet note to someone else at the party. You can either choose to share the notes with everyone at the party or use them as parting gifts for guests to take home at the end.

I actually got these cauuuute paper clips at Target (Target really did a great job with their Valentine’s items this year) but I think it would be a fun DIY to recreate. You would just need some clothes pins, washi tape, yarn, foam or card stock and some paint. Hmm, I feel a DIY coming on!

I really hope you enjoyed our Valentine’s Day party ideas. There were a couple of DIYs that I did not elaborate on only because I was afraid this post would be way took long…but, no worries I will be back later this week with an easy peasy DIY that will take you minutes to do. Gotta love those quick projects!

Have a great week guys. Till Wednesday!
