Where are you originally from?
I am originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico and grew up in Miami, FL

So that is where you get all that curly hair?
Yes, it is! I went all natural a little over 2 years ago. Im embracing my curls!

Has anything in your culture influenced your design process or your entertaining style?
In our culture family is a very big thing. We enjoy great family gatherings and find any excuse to have a party! I grew up watching my mom hosting some sort of get together just about every weekend and remember vividly how flawlessly and almost effortlessly it all came together. Every last detail was thought of but nothing ever felt too stuffy or overdone. These are the traditions I hope to instill in my children now that I am all grown up and have a family of my own. We enjoy hosting as a family. Im most comfortable surrounded by good friends and family, walking barefoot around the house, ensuring that all of my guests are comfortable but really allowing myself a moment to enjoy the party too.

What is the key to effortless entertaining?
Pre-planning is key! Taking care of all the little details beforehand ensures you will have time to be relaxed around your guests and enjoy their company.

When did you get married?

My husband and I were married Dec 10, 2011. We’ve recently moved into a modern colonial home that we built in New Jersey where we now live with our two young children.

Whether you are a modern-day bride searching for wedding inspiration and planning advice, a modern-day woman looking for home decor and lifestyle inspiration, or a modern-day mom in need of some party ideas I am truly thankful you’ve stopped by. Please won’t you grab a seat, pour yourself a cup of cafe con leche (that’s Spanish for latte) or a glass of wine (I always say its cocktail hour somewhere). I’m so honored you’re here.

“Cheers To You, Your Wedding, And To A Beautifully Styled Forever After!”
