Winter Wonderland First Birthday

Last year for Mikaela’s First Birthday we had recently moved into our new home and still had much to do as far as furnishing our home and adding decor. So when deciding on a theme for her First Birthday I thought that a near empty home would be the perfect canvas for creating a Winter Wonderland! We hung snowflakes from the ceiling, covered the entire first floor in “snow” and faux fur throws. Created a dessert table with the most gorgeous winter themed sugar cookies, cake pops, white chocolate Oreos, mini cake bites, and snow cookie towers. A wintery glittered 3 tiered cake (that was seriously almost too pretty to eat) served as the dessert table’s focal point. And what Winter Wonderland themed First Birthday would be complete without a Hot Chocolate Bar equipped with peppermint sprinkles, red velvet hot chocolate, and white chocolate peppermint stirrers?
